Let’s Work Together

Thank you so much for your interest in working with Some Kinda Good.

About the Blog

Some Kinda Good began in 2011 as a fun way to share favorite recipes with family and friends. Five years later, the blog has morphed into a Southern, coastal food blog with a focus on locally owned restaurants and down-home recipes, oftentimes with a Lowcountry twist. The blog offers readers an entertaining look at food enthusiast Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser’s adventures as she shares family traditions, stories about going after her culinary dreams, classic recipes and a diverse variety of positive restaurant reviews.
Some Kinda Good is a featured blog on Zomato, a restaurant application used by millions every day to decide where to eat in over 10,000 cities across 23 countries. Formerly, Zomato was Urbanspoon, where Some Kinda Good was consistently ranked number two on the leaderboard of Top Georgia Food Blogs.

About the Blogger

In the kitchen with my precious and intuitive 11-pound Shih Tzu, Ewok.

Meet Rebekah Faulk Lingenfelser, the personality behind the blog Some Kinda Good. Rebekah grew up in quaint Georgia towns where good food and close-knit community has always been a central part of everyday life. She comes from a long line of great cooks and has a passion for small town America, the Southern seacoast and the quintessential dishes that combine the two. A self-described food enthusiast, Rebekah writes with a pronounced sense of place and appreciates authenticity—whether that means down-home cooking in its most humble form or fine dining in the fanciest of places. Her restaurant reviews purposefully expose passionate people doing excellent things—she never writes a review to bring negative attention to an establishment. In 2014, Rebekah was one of the nation’s top 35 contestants to compete on Season 2 of ABC Television’s cooking competition reality show, “The Taste.” Coincidentally in the same month, she was contacted by producers of The Dr. Oz Show to represent Georgia in “Dr. Oz’s Nationwide Healthy Recipe Challenge.” Rebekah writes as the Statesboro Herald food columnist and guest blogs for several food and travel organizations. She’s also hosted and co-produced “Statesboro Cooks,” a 30-minute local cable program. With more than 10 years of professional experience in marketing and public relations, Rebekah earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Southern University and is now pursuing a culinary arts degree from the award-winning Culinary Institute of Savannah. She resides in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Kurt, and beloved 11-pound Shih Tzu, Ewok.
