Mother’s Day Lunch at Home

With many restaurants still closed and others who aren’t comfortable returning to dining out just yet, Mother’s Day on the town may not be the best option this year – but that doesn’t mean you can’t whip up a delicious dine in menu at home. Setting a beautiful table for mom isn’t hard. With some pretty flowers and a thoughtful home cooked meal, I can’t think of a gift more special.

An Italian feast of Lasagna, salad and bread with cheesecake for dessert makes for a Happy Mother’s Day. Don’t forget the card!

Here’s a Some Kinda Good Mother’s Day menu with no lines and no waiting!

A salad and some sweet tea rounds out the meal.
This showstopping cheesecake is featured in my best-selling memoir, Some Kinda Good. Decorate it with whatever berries you like.
Wishing my Mom (right) and Grandma (middle) a very Happy Mother’s Day! Three generations of good cooks.
