'Tis the season to eat, drink and be merry! ๐Ÿฅ‚๐ŸŽ„โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿชโ˜•๏ธ "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ๐ŸŽถ Christmas Caroling ๐ŸŽถ โš ๏ธ Savannah Alert! Signed copies are ALMOST GONE! โš ๏ธ Thank you @bakers_pride_bakery for the delicious baker's dozen! ๐Ÿ˜‹ Check them out in my book, Unique Eats and Eateries of Savannah...a must-have insider's guide to Savannah's favorite local spots! So long fall, hello Christmas! ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿฆƒ We've been busy decking the halls and we are so excited over here. Happy holidays everyone! Every holiday for as long as I can remember, my mom made her sweet potato casserole with a pecan streusel topping. I miss her so muchโ€”this is my first Thanksgiving without herโ€”but her precious memory lives on in the delicious food she cooked and all the ways she loved us. Fresh cranberry sauce is one of the easiest and most versatile recipes you can make for Thanksgiving! Tomorrow in my Statesboro Herald food column, keep an eye out for some creative ideas on how to use it from festive cocktails to cake decorations and as an appetizer. ๐Ÿฆƒ My slow cooker bacon and mac & cheese is perfect for Thanksgiving because it frees up oven space and travels well. Shred your own cheese, using a food processor or hand grater. There wonโ€™t be any leftovers!
