Food Network Here I Come!!

One fine day in the early spring of 2013, I was cruising around Statesboro, Georgia in my black Grand Prix, when I had a light-bulb moment. At the time, I had been blogging for about two years, and as I considered where I wanted to take my food writing and culinary entertainment side gig, I thought, “Some days, all I need is a camera crew.” It was a simple idea; one that would soon come to fruition and catapult me into a world of cooking like I had never known before. Easter Brunch with Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits, Country Ham and Local Honey

Brunch is my favorite meal on the planet, and the recipe I’m sharing today is hands-down everything I need brunch to be. My husband, Kurt and I traveled to Asheville, North Carolina for a first-time visit to the Biltmore Estate at Christmastime.

My husband Kurt and I took a mini-Christmas vacation in early December to experience Candlelight Christmas Evenings at Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina, where we awoke to 10-inches of pure white, fluffy, undisturbed snow.
